French
As with our GCSE study, we follow the CCEA board. Our results have been excellent and most of our French pupils go on to study French at university and beyond. The AS and A2 exams are structured as follows:

Speaking
- 30% of AS level
- 12% of A level
Listening, Reading and Use of Language
- 40% of AS level
- 16% of A level
Writing
- 30% of AS level
- 12% of A level
A2
Speaking
- 18% of A level
Listening, Reading and Use of Language
- 24% of A level
Writing
- 8% of A level
In AS French, we study No et Mo, and, in A2, we study Les Mains Sales as our literature pieces which are assessed in the Writing Exam

Resources
All our pupils are provided with an array of online resources to encourage independent revision at home. They also have regular conversation classes with our assistant, Aline Laulan.
