| French is taught throughout the school from Years 8 to 14. It is compulsory from Years 8 to 10 and then becomes optional. |
At KS3 all pupils do French and follow the 'Equipe' course which is suited to a wide range of abilities As well as mainstream lessons there is ample opportunity in this text for extended work and independent learning.
Examination Structure : Examinations are held in December and June and comprise tests in the four skills, i.e. listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Practical work: During KS3 pupils get the opportunity to develop their I.T.skills in French by producing advertisements and personal documents. |
