College Excellence at Newry Musical Feis

Congratulations to the teachers and pupils of the Music Dept. whom were successful at the recent Newry Feis in the following categories:
St Colman's College, winners of Class 100: Boys Choir at Newry Musical Feis photographed with The Newry Reporter Challenge Cup.
St Colman's College, winners of Class 108: Plainsong at Newry Musical Feis photographed with the Fr Seamus Moore Memorial Cup. The cup was presented to the Feis by Miss Ethel Fitzpatrick.
Newry Musical Feis Class 64:
St Colman’s College saxophone ensemble, winners of The Geordie Berry Cup for Woodwind Ensemble 18 yrs and under in Class 64 of Newry Musical Feis.
Runners up were S2 students duo Raymond O’Donnell and Michael McCartan.
Newry Musical Feis Class 37:
St Colman’s College string quartet photographed on winning The Ellie Neary Memorial Cup in Class 37 of Newry Musical Feis. Quartet members are fourth year students Christopher Goss, Martin O’Donnell, Marcin Waclawek and John O’Connell. Thanks to their SELB Music Service tutor Mrs Martina Masterson for all her hard work in preparation for the competition.
