Overview
Through the study of Business Studies and Accounting we want our students to receive a unique insight into the world of work. The study of these subjects allows our students to gain an understanding of how Businesses in Northern Ireland and further afield operate.
Students are given the opportunity to learn about the perspectives of different stakeholders in business and economic activities. Students are given the opportunity to understand the changing use of ICT in business and will develop skills such as problem-solving, managing information, decision making and working with others.
The study of Business Studies and Accounting will provide students with a solid foundation for further studies and are very worthwhile subjects for students who are interested in careers such as Accounting, Business Management and Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, Law, Teaching, Banking, Human Resource Management, International Business with a foreign language, Actuarial Sciences and Risk management.
