Music - Digital Recording Training led by AmmA
The Music Department of St Colman's College has once again been delighted to welcome Niall Totten, Multi-Media Engineer from AmmA Centre, the SELB Creative Learning Centre.
On this occasion, the focus was on providing training for AS/A2 music students in the use of the digital recording studio. Instruction and demonstration was provided on microphone placement for drum-kit & guitar as well as recording using Logic Studio software.
The four College A2 music students have had the pleasure of being joined by A2 students from St Mary’s High School, Newry and St Mark’s High School, Warrenpoint as part of on-going collaborations within the Newry & Mourne Area Learning Community. This year students fromNewryHigh Schoolhave also joined our AS music class. Much fun in learning has been shared over the past two years and yesterday’s work in music technology was no different.
