Pet connection visited the Year 8 science club in St Colman’s College on Monday 23rd January. The J1 pupils had the opportunity to observe and touch a variety of animals including rabbits, birds, spiders and various reptiles. Pupil also learned about the habitats, breeding and nutrition of the animals from expert Anne of Pet Connection.

As part of the Religious Studies Programme, the College has arranged for S2- S4 students to participate in a retreat led by the Canadian National Evangelisation (NET) Retreat Team. The team will be resident in the College from Tuesday 18th October until Friday 21st October. They will lead all S4 students in retreat on Wednesday 19th October, all S3 students on Thursday 2Oth October and all S2 students on Friday 21st October. We are currently preparing the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" to be presented on the nights of Sunday 20th - Thursday 24th November at 7.30pm. This is the first time this musical has been produced by the College and we are very pleased to announce that in addition to our own students’ involvement, the female roles are being played by students from St. Mary’s High School, Newry.
