The St. Colman’s College community is very proud of the outstanding grades obtained by Y14 and Y13 Violet Hill students in their 2022 A2 and AS examinations. These excellent results highlight Violet Hill’s position as one of Northern Ireland’s top achieving Boys’ Grammar Schools. 97% of all grades attained were A* - C with 41 Y14 students, 35% of the year group, awarded A*/A grades in 3 or more subjects. Results will be distributed from the College Assembly Hall. A2 and AS results will be available on Tuesday 16th August 2022 from 9.00am to 10:30am. GCSE results will be available on Thursday 25th August 2022 from 9.00am to 10:30am. We would like to wish you all the very best with his results. McGreevy Hurlers do themselves proud

Inaugural VHC Inter Schools Meet enjoyed by all

We were delighted to welcome Abbey Grammar School, St Joseph's High School Newry, Shimna Integrated College, St Patrick's Grammar Armagh and St Paul's High School Bessbrook to our VHC Inter Schools Meet last week. The event included 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and Relay races, Shot Putt, Javelin, Discus, Long Jump, Triple Jump and High Jump. Sportsweek 2022 is a major success

St Colman's College has hosted a 'Sportsweek' over the past two years. This 4 day long event has been a great success; wherby each year group has gheir own day in the sun (or the rain!). It has been a successful initiative and last week's events were very well enjoyed by all the great participants. It is a great team event and a credit to the PE Department, led by Mr Murray. The Sportsweek could not have happened without a great number of staff volunterring to help. Good luck
