Miceal McCaul offered Cross Country Sponsorship to USA
8 February 2021
Cross Country at Violet Hill has been a mainstay of the extra curricular provision for decades. There has been widespread success at Ulster and All Ireland level. One of the key members of the Cross Country and Athletics teams was Miceal McCaul and the great years came through on Saturday that the recent past pupil has been offered a scholarship at Tennessee Tech University. We wish Miceal well Stateside. Cross Country and Track and Field opportunities are more great reasons to consider St Co

In our series of advertising our great College to prospective pupils in P7 and in Year 12 we now treat with a testimonial from Year 14 Head Prefect Adam O'Neill. I came from Jonesborough Primary School, Co Armagh, a small school with under 100 pupils which I loved. Choosing to go to St Colman’s was always going to be a big change for me. I never knew anybody else who was going to the College but this wouldn’t put me off as I was determined to go to a school which in

My great experiences at Violet Hill College My name is Dan McCarthy and I attended Tannaghmore P.S in Lurgan. I chose to go to St. Colman’s because of how good the Open Day was. I have a keen interest in sports such as football and hurling and when I saw the sports facilities at the College I was very impressed. A major reason why I wanted to go to St. Colman’s was because of how my brother described the school and the friends

Why choose St Colman's College, Newry? A testimonial by Deputy Head Prefect Padraig Clancy I attended St. Patricks PS Ballymaghery in Hilltown, and came to St. Colmans with many other pupils from my primary, a short 20 minute bus journey on a straight road to Newry that flies in every morning alongside your friends. Personally, it was never a choice for me, as I had always wanted to go to St. Colmans for as long as I can remember anyway. From hearing stories about the outstanding sport
