After a turbulent couple of years since the start of the Pandemic we were able to gather in Violet Hill for an intimate celebration of medals to the MacRory Cup team. This team, Managed by Mr Cathal Murray, and assisted by Mr Michael Doyle and Mr Rónán McMahon, were due to play the MacRory Cup Final in March 2020 vs St Patrick's College, Maghera but Covid-19 ended that particular dream. The S4 BTEC Sport class organised and delivered on a J1 Penalty Kick Competition on the last day of term before the break. It was a great sporting event and participation was open to everyone in the year group. Cailum Patterson won the competition after hitting a number of amazing penalties. As part of their Unit 10 'Organising Sports Events' with Mr McMahon the class have to organise two stand alone events this year. Proceeds raised from these events will go to chari
