All Ireland Intermediate Cross Country Trophy presented to Principal Mr McKinney

It is a long standing tradition at Violet Hill that an All Ireland trophy is formally presented to the Principal.

The Intermediate team, Captained by Aaron Agnew, gathered today to continue this tradition.

Aaron Agnew spoke on behalf of the team to thank Mr McKinney. “We could not have won this without your support, not just on the day itself in Galway but all year.”

Thanks to Coach Mr Friel who spent many hours throughout the year putting these young athletes through their paces and helping them win Down, Ulster and All Ireland medals.
