Further encouraging our pupils to grow as lifelong, independent learners, the sixth form curriculum is designed to provide intensive academic specialised studies across a range of subjects.
All sixth form pupils follow courses in Religious Education, Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG), and Microsoft Office leading to certification in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate (equivalent to 1 A Level)
BTEC Level 3 National Diploma (equivalent to 2 A Levels)
Each A-Level pupil is expected to study three or four subjects to AS Level and continue with three to A2 standard, though some will study more.
Pupils taking vocational subjects (BTEC) are expected to supplement their studies with the appropriate number of A-Level subjects for the university course of their choice.
