Historic first iPad rollout

Our J1 pupils were absolutely delighted today when they received their new iPads. It is an exciting time for these newly inducted pupils and we wait with anticipation to see innovative teaching methods in the classroom using state of the art iPad technology. Teachers at the College have been in possession of their own iPads since last September and are well in tune with how they can be utilised in the classroom.

J1 pupils blitz a real credit today

As part of an extensive induction programme, aimed at allowing our new J1s to settle in to life at the College, today we hosted a Multi Activity Blitz. The day was a huge success and afforded pupils across all J1 Form Classes the opportunity to get to know each other better in a sporting environment. Pupils were sorted into teams today namely; Dublin, Armagh, Down, Tyrone, Kerry, Cork, Antrim and Donegal. Scores were not kept but this did not take the edge of the competitive

Cathal Clarke for UK Schools' Games

One of our resident cyclists, S3 pupil Cathal Clarke, has been chosen to represent Ulster in next week's UK Schools' Games. It is another important milestone for this young man from Glenn who spent 10 days last year in South Africa honing his cycling skills. We wish Cathal well in the upcoming Games and in his cycling career going forward.
